Bio
Hello! My name is Christina, and I'm a Registered Clinical Counsellor with 13 years experience working in the field of mental health counselling therapy, and 30 years experience working within the education system. In my time working as a clinician, I've been honoured to walk alongside clients as young as 4 years of age, and those as young at heart as 86 years of age! I like to work from a client-centered, strength-based approach, incorporating interventions from a variety of therapeutic modalities most suited to the individual. I draw from my training in play therapy, NSST sand-tray work, CBT, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, EMDR, and feedback informed treatment to address a wide range of individual needs and goals. These may include concerns associated with trauma, adverse childhood experiences, anxiety, depression, addiction, grief and loss, as well as school related challenges. My counselling centre is Christina Lussier Counselling, Consulting, and Outreach Support Services, and I'm located in South Surrey. I offer evening sessions by appointment.
