I have been working therapeutically with children, teens and their families for 20+ years. I am a Registered Play Therapist, a Registered Clinical Counsellor and an Approved Clinical and Play Therapist Supervisor with a Masters in Counselling Psychology. I can offer play-based interventions of various kinds however my preference is to work with sand tray, the neuroscience of attachment, and puppet play. At Allius Services where I am the clinical director, we specialize in divorce and separation issues, blended and coparenting families, anxiety and trauma. I am particularly interested in working with teens and adults in the sand tray as well as supporting the development of psychotherapy practice that includes expressive and play interventions. This includes counsellors looking to add these tools to their work with kids, teens and adults or those qualifying for a play therapist credential.
