Biographical Info
Vicky is a Registered Clinical Counsellor who has supported the emotional and psychological health of children and families for over 20 years. Vicky brings extensive experience working with children and families within child welfare, adoption, addiction, mental health and community settings. She has a special focus in play therapy. Vicky has a Master of Counselling from City University. She has a postgraduate certificate and diploma in play therapy from Canterbury Christ Church in the UK. Vicky works from a strengths based, trauma and culturally informed lens. She is particularly interested in exploring how nervous system regulation can facilitate greater wellbeing for children and families. Vicky has training in Synergetic Play Therapy, Filial Therapy, Parent Child Attachment Therapy, Circle of Security, Connect Parenting, Emotion Focused Family Therapy, CBT, DBT, Solution Focused therapy and Child Development. Accepting new clients.
