Michelle McElroy

I started my training as a child counsellor taking expressive arts training. After years of training and dedication I have XXXX. I love working with children and youth in a playful way. I consider myself an eclectic counsellor, using may different modalities to work with children, adolescents and adults. I am a BC Registered Play Therapist who specializes in trauma work with children. I am certified as a child sand tray specialist, a playful EMDR therapist and an art therapist. I also have training in Autplay, Synergetic Play Therapy, and Kids Yoga. I am child-centered and attachment focused. I believe that it is important to find the right technique for each individual child and not fit the child to one form of therapy.
