Bio
Hello! I'm Amber. I've been working with both typical and neurodivergent children and their families for over 20 years, including those with learning differences, autism and ADHD. Using creative and empowerment approaches, I help people across the lifespan rediscover their strengths, face their fears, and experience more joy in their lives. Areas of practice include addressing anxiety, self-compassion, self-identity, sadness, grief and loss, and life changes. My approaches include sandtray work, puppet play, art mediums, story-telling, neuroscience-based education, and generally creative approaches to challenging problems! I am trained in Synergetic Play Therapy, Expressive therapies, Narrative Therapy, and Cognitive Behaviour Therapies. You can reach me at [email protected]. I'd love to hear from you!

“The activities that are the easiest, cheapest, and most fun to do – such as singing, playing games, reading, storytelling, and just talking and listening – are also the best for child development.”
– Jerome Singer (professor, Yale University)
