About the Presenter:

Dr. Nareeta StephensonDr. Nareeta Stephenson, is a chiropractor and owner of Strawberries and Sunshine Wellness Collective in Port Coquitlam. Even as a child Dr. Nareeta’s goal was to support children, moms and families find natural solutions to health and healing. Fascinated by the science and intricacy of the human body she went on to graduate from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia with a Bachelor of Science and a Masters of Chiropractic in 2001.

Dr. Nareeta returned to Canada and not long after starting practice in Port Coquitlam, she and her husband, Rob, welcomed boy-girl twins and balancing babies and business became the norm. In the past 23 years Dr. Nareeta’s practice has evolved from running all aspects of the business herself to building a multi-disciplinary centre.

Her journey as a mom led Dr. Nareeta into the world of neurodevelopmental disorders. Inspired by her own family’s healing journey, she is now devoted to helping these kids and their families. While Dr. Nareeta is not a fan of labelling, she has first-hand experience and knowledge of neurodevelopmental disorders and how extremely difficult they can be for everyone who loves and lives with the person affected. They not only affect the child, but also often wreak havoc on the entire family’s wellness.
Through chiropractic, community and solutions to optimize everyone’s health, Dr. Nareeta’s goal is to provide hope and healing for the whole family!

“The activities that are the easiest, cheapest, and most fun to do – such as singing, playing games, reading, storytelling, and just talking and listening – are also the best for child development.”
– Jerome Singer (professor, Yale University)
